Small Interactive Groups Facilitator (2023-2024 Academic Year) UIW Mission Position Summary The University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM) educates aspiring physicians to be justice-minded, global citizens using a community-based, distributed model of education, which fosters inclusion, discovery, and innovation. The UIWSOM invites applications for Small Interactive Groups (SIGS) facilitators. Small Group Interactive Sessions (SIGS) are a cornerstone of the first two years of UIWSOM's Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) curriculum. During the first two years, learners meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings in small groups along with a faculty process facilitator. Faculty facilitators guide and evaluate the SIGS process. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to adult learning principles and student-centered learning. In addition, the applicant must successfully complete the SIGS facilitator training program. HVAC Technician II UIW Mission Position Summary The HVAC Technician II is responsible for performing advanced (senior-level) work in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) building maintenance and construction trade to ensure the safe and uninterrupted heating and air conditioning services of UIW facilities. HVAC Technician II reports to the HVAC Supervisor.
