Attention will be focused on new product development, marketing strategies, risk management initiatives, process control, customer communications and issue management.The successful candidate will proactively manage an effective compliance risk management oversight program for the U.S. Consumer deposits business, as well as provide risk management advisory services to promote safe, scalable innovation across the deposit portfolio.How will you make an impact in this role?<ul><li>Provide solution-oriented compliance support to assist the&nbsp;U.S. Consumer deposit&nbsp;team in reaching their goals, while meeting compliance requirements</li><li>Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on state and federal consumer banking laws and regulations to strengthen processes, procedures, and controls for the lines of business.</li><li>Support new initiatives through the New Product Governance process, with a strong analytical focus on compliance controls, testing, and ongoing monitoring to implement effective processes.</li><li>Review proposed marketing campaign materials and strategies, to effectively mitigate compliance risks.</li><li>Assess servicing and regulatory-driven customer communications and disclosures&nbsp;to ensure compliance with&nbsp;consumer protection laws.</li><li>Effectively support the Issue Management process to promote timely closure of compliance control gaps and customer remediation where required.</li><li>Support an effective Compliance program including Compliance Risk Assessments.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders (e.g., other Global Risk and Compliance colleagues, General Counsel Office, Operational Excellence, Independent Compliance Testing, Privacy, Internal Audit Group).</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Demonstrated fundamental regulatory knowledge of consumer deposit banking regulations (e.g., UDAAP, Regulations E and DD)</li><li>Prior compliance, legal, risk oversight/audit, or operational experience with the end-to-end deposit life cycle,&nbsp;including account acquisition, ATM, debit cards, money movement, servicing, and account restrictions.</li><li>Ability to research, assess, and determine regulatory impact to business initiatives.</li><li>Ability to exercise sound judgment and influence decisions in the development and selection of compliant solutions.</li><li>Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt easily to frequent change.</li><li>Strong creativity and collaborative skills, and experience working in a matrixed and agile environment and on cross-functional teams.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Proactive, results-oriented, and self-driven.</li><li>Experience with digital and mobile banking products &amp; platforms preferred.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience&nbsp;in relevant field of study&nbsp;required.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or similar professional certification preferred.</li></ul>Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
