Related duties may be assigned.&nbsp; <ul><li>Work closely with other staff to provide instructions and information about programs.</li><li>Provide referrals, social service enrollments, and assistance in obtaining services as required.</li><li>Work towards performance standards for all RSS programs but give special attention to monitoring the Services to Older Refugees program standards.</li><li>Determine eligibility and provide intake with interpretation if necessary.</li><li>Set up plans for case management with ongoing goals.</li><li>Maintain and develop a network of other community services, especially those most relevant for senior participants.</li><li>Work with translators to provide services and effectively communicate with participants.</li><li>Attend programmatic meetings.</li><li>Develop employment plan with the program director’s approval, and in accordance with the grant.</li><li>Maintain regular documentation through case notes in accordance with grant guidelines and requirements, staying updated on any changes.</li><li>Attend trainings.</li><li>On a case-by-case basis, accompany participants to appointments.</li><li>Advocate for participants when needed including to access healthcare services.</li><li>Act as a resource for agencies, schools, councils, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Schedule participants for appointments with medical, dental, legal, education, etc.</li><li>Counsel participants in crisis and for daily needs, including public benefit enrollment and maintenance.</li><li>Show flexibility and understanding in dealing with persons from diverse, social, economic, and educational backgrounds.&nbsp;</li><li>Accept appropriate additional responsibilities as requested.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li><li>Regular attendance is expected.</li><li>Use tact and courtesy to establish and maintain effective relationships with persons contacted in the course of work.</li></ul> &nbsp; Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
