As a Product Owner on the Gather team, you will be joining the ground floor of a growing team of cross-functional digital experts in product, engineering, and design. In this role, you will be a leading driver of squad and agency partners through product delivery as we build and grow our first product infrastructure from 0-1.
We are looking for a highly collaborative team member with a fanatical focus on the customer, and experience leading data-powered connected products in areas of disparate systems and processes.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead product delivery for a defined area of business, and create comprehensive, detailed documentation for user stories and acceptance criteria to guide feature development
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and cross-functional partners to understand product strategy and successfully translate into product requirements for design and engineering teams
- Optimize feature development by effectively creating, managing, and communicating backlog and prioritization with the squad and cross-functional partners
- Own definition of “done” and hold accountability for quality of product feature delivery
- Product representative and POC for squad scrum activities: Standup, backlog refinement, planning, retro, demo
- Define and manage KPIs of product delivery leading into portfolio and operational objectives
- Influence roadmaps across partners to aid in feature deliveries while ensuring alignment to organizational success
- Experience
- 3-5+ years of experience in digital product, preferably with a focus on mobile, connected, and/or data-powered products
- 2-3+ years of experience managing and leading product delivery and cross-functional product squads; delivering and growing products 0-1 a plus
- Demonstrated experience writing detailed product requirements and documentation
- Ability to understand and collaborate on complex technical concepts and systems with engineers and scientists
- Strong ability to empathize with and advocate for consumers
- Understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
