This position reports to the Vice President of Collateral & Document Custody. This position will work in close conjunction with the Custody Department, Titles, Dealer Services and 3rd party Custodian. This position provides services to other departments, including Customer Service, Remarketing, Funding and Accounting.
The successful candidate is self-directed in work prioritization, highly organized and detail-oriented, and demonstrates superior judgment-making ability within the scope of the position’s areas of responsibility. The associate will perform all duties in accordance with AN Finance policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.

- Responsible for the day-to-day paid in full and vehicle title release process.
- Reviews all incoming titles and registrations for completeness and accuracy ensuring proper title transfers.
- Updates customer accounts with detailed status notes and image records making sure system collateral screens remain updated and title status is easily accessible.
- Using PC image scanners, scans various types of records and documents.
- Assists Records Custodian in the custody review process
- Review customer contracts for accurate system entry and requests system updates as needed
- Sends weekly and time sensitive file requests to 3rd party custodian
- Receives incoming file shipments from 3rd party custodian and sorts/files them appropriately in vault
- Works with 3rd party custodian on problem files received
- Communicates to departments when collateral problems arise.
- Reviews daily custody exception reports for cited or outstanding documents and investigations
- Oversee the daily outstanding custody report and communicate needed updates or stale dated items to necessary internal parties
- Performs mail room services
- Provides front desk support
- Perform special projects or other related work as required or requested by VP of Collateral & Document Custody
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years previous work experience in an office setting preferred
- Prior knowledge of DMV documents or DMV verbiage is a plus.
