Position Summary
The Financial Assistance Advisor I-Front Counter counsels students and respective family on various types of resources available, eligibility requirements, and university costs. Advisors provide excellent service and a friendly atmosphere while being accountable for following Federal, State and Institutional regulations. The Financial Assistance Advisor I-Front Counter reports to Assistant Director of Financial Assistance.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.

Required Work Experience
One (1) year professional experience in customer or student services.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with financial assistance or student services, BANNER, SQL, and fluency in Spanish.

Work Hours
Mon through Fri 8am to 5pm with extended hours as needed to meet departmental goals, to include some evenings or weekends during peak periods.
