Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of a federated GraphQL API schema, ensuring seamless integration across multiple subgraphs.

• Develop and enforce governance policies for API design and usage, focusing on security, performance, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with product teams to define data requirements and translate business needs into effective API models.

• Apply domain-driven design principles to create bounded contexts and help to establish and maintain data ownership within the federated service.

• Design and implement Domain models, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

• Engage in discussions with stakeholders to gather feedback and identify new opportunities for data integration and API enhancements.

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in API design, data architecture, and related technologies. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful API design projects.

• Knowledge of GraphQL and its federated architecture, along with RESTful API design principles.

• Solid understanding of domain-driven design methodologies and their application in data architecture.

• Proficiency in data modeling techniques and tools, including experience with relational and NoSQL databases

. • Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-based data solutions. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with API management tools and platforms is a plus.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
