Job Description
We’re looking to hire problem solvers who can drive results through precise analysis and engineering practices – a person with a strong intellectual curiosityand a team player.In this role you will be part of a team that supports our world-class Treasury organization in building out our FX Exposure Management platform.Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a core member of an engineering team that designs and develops software applications.
- Troubleshooting such applications.
- Writing code and unit tests, working on specs, automation, contributing technical documentation, conducting code reviews and testing.
- Effectively interpreting technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulating sound solutions.
- Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience with application design and development using Java.
- 1-3 years of expertise in objected oriented analysis and design.
- Thorough understanding of Java, SQL, database structures and functioning. Full-stack is welcome, but back-end Java is a must-have.
- BS degree in Business Administration, MIS, Finance, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Git, GHA, CI/CD and branching strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in scrum-based Agile development, design, software development, testing, and implementation.
- Excellent English-speaking skills and the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with a broad constituency base (e.g., Business, Tech, etc.).
- A proven hunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Rally for documenting User Stories, Test Conditions, and Features.
- Knowledge or experience working with Finance applications.
- Knowledge of Postgres databases.
Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
