We are seeking to hire a crew of dedicated Grounds Maintenance Workers (Cleaning Ambassadors) to join our team in beautiful downtown Gainesville, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the outdoor areas of our downtown to ensure a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment.

What You'll Do:
- Maintain the cleanliness of public spaces, including sidewalks, benches, trash receptacles, and more.
- Remove litter, debris, and graffiti to ensure a pristine appearance throughout downtown.
- Assist with cleaning tasks such as sweeping, pressure washing, and trash removal.
- Conduct tree well care including weeding and mulching as needed
- Serve as a friendly and helpful presence to those you encounter while on the job.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as graffiti and weed abatement, sticker removals, sweeping with a pan and broom as well as professional sidewalk and curb cleaning equipment.

- Dig and plant new greenery as required

What We’re Looking For:
- A strong work ethic
- Great eye for details like: weeds, napkins, straws, plastic drink bottles, trash, cigarette butts, dog waste, ect...
- Ability to work independently while following a cleaning schedule through the assigned zone
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is a plus, but not required
Requirements:
- 18 years or older; High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL ABILITIES –
Must have the physical capacity to walk or traverse continuously during an eight-hour shift, with normal breaks (two fifteen minutes, and one thirty-minute meal break).
Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions with provided inclement weather gear.
COMMUNICATION – Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language to create basic reports.
