How will you make an impact in this role?

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end technical support of all network platforms. This position plays an integral role in leveraging monitoring platforms to increase network stability and to ensure a high level of network availability. This role will be expected to collaborate with application and infrastructure teams in order to provide the highest level of support for the business and the Amex Network Operation Center.

In this role, you’ll:


• Provide hands on technical support, analysis, and issue resolution for network infrastructure and network services.
• Optimize network performance via analyzing, tuning, and monitoring. Evaluate existing network performance to identify deficiencies and make performance recommendations.
• Evaluate and develop new network monitoring capabilities.
• Provide network support for complex issues related to applications, servers, databases, storage and/or any other technical service.

Minimum Qualifications

·Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or equivalent experience preferred

·Students must have a graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025


Preferred Additional Skills:

·Basic understanding of cloud offerings such as AWS, GCP, and Azure

·Understanding of software defined networking, automation, and orchestration

·Basic understanding of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring and maintaining of assigned application(s)

·Basic knowledge of platform delivery methodology (Agile, Scrum, Agile XP, Best in Class Development, Waterfall, etc)

Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
